Education Requirements
Systems engineers typically have a bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or other related fields for at least four years. Computer programs usually include programming courses, data structures, computer systems, and software engineering. During their studies, students can take technical courses such as business, management or accounting. Engineers may also be required to have extensive experience in this field, which they can gain through internships at the undergraduate school.
